2011 Pickup Schedule

When will the Village pick up leaves on my street?

Fall Season leaf pickup is tentatively scheduled to start on Monday, October 24, 2011.

This schedule is intended to let residents better understand what area of town will be serviced on what day of the week.  Schedule will repeat until leaf pickup is completed.

Weather and unforeseen equipment problems do affect leaf pickup.  If we experience abnormally bad weather or any equipment related delays during pickup, this schedule will be adjusted as necessary.

This time of year Murphy’s Law prevails, so if for any reason we are unable to pickup on your scheduled day, your street will be serviced the next day.  Example:  Monday new addition is serviced, Tuesday rain, Wednesday rain, Thursday pickup resumes at Tuesday’s schedule.

Brush Pickup

Pickups will be the first full week of April, May, August, October and December.

All brush must be cut to manageable lengths
We will no longer accept entire shrubs or trees yanked out by the roots and placed in whole on the curb.  We will not pick up any item with an attached root ball.  Any oversized pickup should be cleared with Village workers ahead of time.

Grass Clippings

Grass clippings will not be picked up curbside in 2010.  A grass clipping drop off point is available to you at:
the Village Municipal Building, 408 Sherman Street, Pemberville, Ohio.
Please use the area designated “Grass Clippings Only” in the concrete barrier area.

GRASS AND GARDEN PLANT MATTER ONLY
Absolutely no wood, sticks, twigs, branches, paper, trash, litter, cans, glass or plastic bottles can be found in with the material.
