Pemberville
Village Council Minutes
of 2/19/02
Mayor
Oberhouse called the regular meeting of Council to order on Tuesday, February 19th,
2002 at 7:30 p.m. A prayer was
offered by Douglas Wegman followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Present
for roll call were Panning, Wegman, Brann, and Sharp. Vandersall and Mazur were absent. Also attending the meeting was Polly Weitzel from the
Sentinel-Tribune and Mike Crispen.
The
minutes from February 5th, 2002 were reviewed and as there were no
additions or corrections, the minutes stand approved as submitted.
Bills in the amount of
$3,161.64 were presented for approval of payment.
Sharp moved, seconded by Wegman, to approve payment of the bills.
The motion carried unanimously.
Ordinance #1232, An Ordinance
to make Permanent Appropriations for Current Expenses and other Expenditures of
the Village of Pemberville, State of Ohio, during the fiscal year ending
December 31, 2002, had its first reading.
Mike Crispen is considering
purchasing a lot from the Keller’s and wants to know what the sewer tap fee
would be.
The Pemberville Community Pool
Board would like to use Memorial Park, specifically the baseball field, the
weekend of May 25th, 2002, for a Danger Brothers Concert.
Panning moved to let the Pool Board use the baseball diamond for their
fundraiser. Seconded by Wegman, the
motion carried unanimously.
As
there was no further business to be brought before Council at this time, Sharp
moved, seconded by Panning, to adjourn the meeting at 8:05 p.m.
